I am solo thru hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2021 and this website is setup to keep everyone informed of my adventures and progress.

This hike has been brewing in my head for 20 years and I’m not getting any younger!

I am starting the trail before March 15th and hope to be done before Labor Day.

A few facts for anyone unfamiliar with The AT:

• Trail length - Roughly 2200 miles
• Trail Start - Springer Mountain, Georgia
• Trail End - Baxter State Park, Mt. Katahdin
• The trail passes thru
  • 14 States
  • 6 National Parks
  • 8 National Forests
• Number of people who complete the AT/year - Less than 1500
